TEAM MEETING

In teamwork, the meeting has to stop and reflect, when all pause to review the work done, assess and propose new actions in the future.

The dual purpose of the meetings is:

- Contribute to the awareness of participants to enable them to better position themselves and develop their potential.
- Contribute to the team's progress, accumulating experience and opening new lines of action.

The process of the meeting:

In practice, this process can be compiled as follows:

0. Call (Agenda).
1. Approach the topic at hand.
2. Clarification on the approach and theme.
3. Discussion of the topic.
4. Conclusions, decisions to take.

Let's see what each one of these sections:

- Call: is a preliminary step that does not correspond properly to the meeting, but an appeal is made to the team members to come to the meeting. Be attached to the "agenda", which reflects all the work items to be discussed at the meeting.
- Statement of the issue to be addressed: is a brief introduction that serves to outline the work to be done in the meeting, noting the special points worthy of discussion.
- Clarification on the approach and the theme is a small discussion seeks to ensure that all meeting participants to take charge of what is done. Each brings a suggestion or demand realization at some point. The idea is that everyone has understood what will be discussed and what will work.
- Discussion of the topic: be conducted in two phases:
1 .- Analysis on the subject and partial solutions.
2 .- Synthesis phase, where partial solutions are included in a final solution.
- Conclusions, decisions to make: These solutions bring together all the proposals and select those that are most appropriate, according to available resources and the situation, specifying:
- Actions to be taken.
- Division of responsibilities.
- Date and place of each action.
- Media to be used.
